“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” by J. K. Rowling

Harry Potter is one of the most famous children’s book ever written. This spellbinding book was written by the British novelist J.K.Rowling.The story of Harry potter was published in a series of seven books .First one in the series was Harry potter and the Philosopher’s stone and the last book was harry potter and the deathly hallows. The Story revolves around an orphan boy called Harry who one day finds that he is a wizard .He attends Hogwarts school of  witch craft and wizardry, where he and his friends battle Voldemort , a dark wizard ,who killed Harry’s parents .

Harry potter and the order of the Phoenix, is the fifth book  in Harry potter series .The book tells about the troubles, secrets  and surprises that awaits Harry in his fifth year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. The story also tells about the order of the Phoenix, a secret society and a secret weapon Lord Voldemort needs. A new character is also introduced  in this story – Dolores Jane Umbridge , who is Harry’s new defences against dark arts teacher .What trouble will Harry have in his fifth year as the Dark Lord has returned? What is the secret weapon that Voldemort  needs? Why is the order protecting the weapon ? What problems does Umbridge cause for Harry? To find answers to all these questions you will have to read the book yourself.

The book is easily understandable and it contains many magical, humorous and touching moments .Through the book Rowling made young readers feel as if there is actually a school for witches and wizards .My favourite characters are Hermoine and Ron , Harry’s best friends who help Harry in all  situations .I rate the book ten on ten. This book can be read by all those who love reading irrespective of their age.
