“The Magic Drum and other favourite Stories” by Sudha Murty

“A PRINCESS WHO THINKS SHE WAS A BIRD

A COCONUT THAT COST A THOUSAND RUPEES

AND A SHEPHERD WITH A BAG OF WORDS”

THE MAGIC DRUM WAS THE FIRST FOLK TALES BOOK OF THE AUTHOR SUDHA MURTY‘S.MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN THIS BOOK IS   PINGALA WHO COMES FROM A POOR HOUSE AND  BECOMES THE KING OF THE CAPITAL, BECAUSE OF  HIS HONESTY, WHICH WAS THE POWER OF THE POOR BOY. SOME OF THE TALL STORIES OF THE BOASTERS, FOOLISH PERSONS WHO WERE VERY REAL TO ME AND ANOTHER SET OF PEOPLE WHO MADE ME LAUGH AND LAUGH.SOME SET OF THE STORIES WHICH WERE SO WONDER FULL THAT IT KEPT ME TURNING PAGES AND PAGES.MY FAVORITE PART OF THE STORY WAS THE ONE IN WHICH A ORDINARY PURSE BECOMES THE LUCKY PURSE. SOME OF THE STORY WAS SO GRIPPING THAT IT  DIDN’T LET ME TAKE MY EYES FROM IT.

THE BOOK  WAS SO FANTASTIC AND DIDN’T HAD ANY   DISLIKING STORIE IN THIS BOOK.I GIVE THIS BOOK  5/5.AND I REFER THIS BOOK TO ALL WHO ARE  INTRESTED IN READING FOLK TALES.

READ IT!!!!

ENJOY IT!!!!!
