‘The Fault in our Stars’ by John Green

‘The Fault in our Stars’ is John Green’s dedication to Esther Earl, belonging to the Earl family to which the writer is very grateful for their generosity and friendship.

The story is about and is narrated by Hazel Grace Lancaster, who has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist, Augustus Waters suddenly appears at ‘The Literal Heart of Jesus’ Cancer Kid Support Group, which Hazel attends due to the constant force from her parents, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten.

The book describes how Hazel and Gus’ friendship blooms into a love affair and how that relation gets shattered and still remain untouched. The book has numerous striking quotes, and is, without any doubt, a page- turner, with a nail-biting finish. Green’s writing style is simple, and I suppose, suitable for readers of all ages. I recommend the book to all those who admires goodness and loves reading.
